TALENT TALK

Being involved in the Speights commercial was so much fun. Everyone on set was so helpful and a delight to work with. The other actors were highly entertaining during down time and the crew were super helpful on set. As it was my first TVC, I'll be honest, I was a little bit nervous as I didn't know what to expect upon arriving on set. However, the nerves were gone shortly after. Being on set is such a great feeling for me. It's like a safe zone where creativity is allowed. I'm proud to have worked on the Speights commercial, it's a great one! I'm also secretly hoping they do a series of them and we all get called back so we can all work together again. I just can't wait for the next role I get. I now have more motivation not to give up on the dream of being a full time actor.

Jordan Hovind - Speights TV Commercial

TALENT TALK

It was an amazing fun filled day and I met so many like minded individuals from different walks of life who were there because they were passionate about acting. There was a lot of laughter, hard work and sweat put into it as we went through multiple takes to get that elusive perfect shot. Starting out as total strangers at the beginning of the shoot, we ended up leaving in little groups exchanging Facebook profiles.

Afraz Adam - The Warehouse TV Commercial

TALENT TALK

It was so much fun and a fantastic experience to be Lucy Lawless' body double - she was always very busy preparing and running lines but she was friendly and always made time to chat. I got to do a lot of stunts which was also really cool. Working with the American stars of the show taught me so much, and I built a rapport with the director which lead on to a lead role in a TV Commercial which will screen from March 2016. This job has shown me that small jobs can still teach you a lot and lead to other things - this industry is all about networking so I would encourage people to take any job they are offered to get as much experience and make as many connections as you can!

Ravlin Cooper - Ash vs Evil Dead TV Show

TALENT TALK

The job was so much fun and really cool because we got to work together as a real couple - we sat at the table pretending to eat breakfast, we were just ourselves so it was really natural and not like working at all! Thanks JAM for the experience. The crew were all American so were extremely friendly and talkative - it was great.

Indiana Cooper & Danny Dewar - TJX USA TV Commercial

Nivi Nair - Air NZ Photo Shoot

This job was a piece of cake, such an easy and fun shoot. Although after an hour I did get a bit sick of looking at my reflection haha! Brad the Successful Businessman was a cool character, a bit different from roles I've had before. I enjoyed the shoot!

Andrew Kneijber - Real Estate NZ Video

TALENT TALK

Did I enjoy the MC Ed role? YES! The crew were very nice and supportive and we had fun. At the end the Cameraman thanked me and said I had done a great job (I could tell that he was genuine and really meant it).

Edgar Smallwood - Real Estate NZ Video

TALENT TALK

I was very happy with this job and so excited that I got this far on my first audition! The crew were amazing and very friendly. It did feel a little weird when they followed me as I was one of the lead characters. But overall, I can't wait to do it again!

Daniel Potter - NZTA TV Commercial

Thanks to the team of JAM Talent who put me forward for this series and what a thrill it was. Sure I had to get up at 5:15am, but the whole experience was enamours. I met many other people from JAM Talent and we all had a good time. The makeup session, the hair dressing and the wardrobe was fun. Wow, meeting the stars was of course a highlight… Thanks JAM Talent!

The Lowdown campaign was my first job and it was very eye opening! I really didn't know what to expect but the creative directors, stylists and organisers were all very welcoming, gave clear directions and made sure everyone was very comfortable. Not only did I get insight into the industry, but this particular job was very inspiring since its purpose was to help youth experiencing mental health issues. It really highlighted how powerful media can be. I felt honoured to be a part of such a positive project!

Keeha Oh - The Lowdown Photo Shoot

I really enjoy working with JAM Talent, I get great support from the team. They are very professional and know what they are doing. I was booked for a Verizon TV Commercial as a surfer which was so much fun. I also enjoy doing the extra roles for the TV Show Step Dave. Being on set is a great experience and a good opportunity to learn and grow as a performer.

Hamish Taylor - Pizza Hut TV Commercial

Thank you JAM for all these great jobs! I always try to stay in character even when waiting to shoot, and it was a great rewarding feeling when all my friends recognised me on the Mastercard TV Commercial with Richie McCaw - like it was a taste of what's to come when I'm a big star! People always hear horror stories about divas on set, but everyone was really lovely and I am always treated with kindness and respect. The delicious catering is always a bonus too!

"Absolutely thrilled by the news of my success @ the audition. I could hardly wait for the on set experience and my first time in front of the BIG cameras. As the time grew closer I was beginning to get more and more excited. This was of course, my first ever TVC. On the day however, I swear I was treated like a movie star. The crew did their very best to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. And the handsome Director, upon our handshake made me forget all about the mornings anxiousness.Just when I thought this magnificent experience has come and gone, not once had I anticipated all the exciting response from friends and family here and abroad"

Angie Elliot - Vodafone TV Commercial

It was a great experience to work side by side with the Silver Ferns. When looking at them, I must be very short because I felt my neck get sore. When they threw water melon on each other it was very funny. Thanks JAM

Kun Shi - New World Netball Sponsorship TV Commercial

TALENT TALK

As soon as I arrived on location for TV3's promo advert for The Block NZ, I was warmly welcomed by the director. He was keen to meet the crazy talent who had agreed to be sprayed with blue paint! It was good to know that the talent for this advert were all from JAM. This was quite a comedic story line with a risky, one chance finale; the sudden burst of blue powder paint into my face. My comfort and safety were always considered while shooting. More comedy roles for me please JAM!

Nikki Davidson - The Block NZ TV Commercial

TALENT TALK

The shoot was an awesome experience! The scene involved my BBQ catching fire, so there was a fire safety technician on set, and it was so much fun playing with fire all day! Pyrotechnics all 'round! The rest of the crew were rally cool too and treated me so well. It was so much fun playing around that it really didn't feel like work.

Loran Paulich - Bigpipe Photoshoot

TALENT TALK

The shoot site was so cool, a small piece of kiwi nostalgia. It was all over in less than an hour, easy-as and a great experience for my first ever shoot. Everyone on the team was so laid back and friendly to work with, I smiled my way through the whole experience. Thank you JAM and all those I met on the day!

Gina Brown - Z Energy TV Commercial
